2025 Sashiko McLaren Vale Rose

A$30.00

Made with Grenache from blocks at our home vineyard, Alagna. We hand picked this block on a cool early morning in February, a full two weeks earlier than the previous year. The juice was kept on skins for mere hours to extract the right amount of colour and flavour for this very drinkable wine.

TASTING NOTES

The pale salmon pink of the 2025 Sashiko Grenache Rose is bright and fresh. It has delicate aromas of raspberry, citrus and floral notes. The palate is structured, vibrant and elegant with a mouth-watering salinity. Fermented through to dry, this wine can be both enjoyed with a wide range of foods as well as a sundowner on the back porch.

FOOD MATCH

This Rose lends itself to many and varied food matches, from grilled lobster and prawn with avocado salad to sweet and sour roasted duck and even a milder veal curry, or with smoked salmon bellinis.
