Made exclusively from ultra premium Cabernet sourced from the very best parcels of Block 4 at our home vineyard, Alagna, overlooking McLaren Vale.
Representing the absolute best of what we do at Sew & Sew, this Cabernet is aged in New French and American Oak barriques for 22 months.
We only make this wine in the very exceptional years and all the care in the world is taken in the winery to allow this exceptional fruit to show its full potential.
After a long slow ferment the wine is carefully placed into a combination of American and French oak barriques to mature for 22 months before careful racking without the use of filtration or finning to retain its depth of flavour and power.
The wine is then taken to bottling where only 83 cases of this wine were put into bottle. This wine is designed to keep developing in bottle for many years to come and will reward carefully cellaring immensely.
