2024 Contour McLaren Vale Grenache

A$60.00

Made with Grenache from a small block at our home vineyard, Alagna. A 170m elevation provides a long and gentle growing season creating delicate fruit to work with.

Aged in French oak barrels for 18 months, the juice is then very carefully racked without the use of fining agents or filtration to preserve the wonderful flavour and balance of this delicate wine whilst steeping the natural spice palate that grenache is famous for.

The gentle and longer growing season results in a lighter bodied style with a beautiful delicacy.

TASTING NOTES

Aromas of rich fruity Christmas cake, bright red cherries and heady blossom lead to a palate of lush fruits and complex spice forming a wine with delicacy and complexity with a long finish.
